Unite as a community praying the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. Prayers are conducted in Portuguese on Wednesday evenings in the Church.
Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services.
Unite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Rosary is prayed before each Mass.
Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
Fridays from 5pm to 6pm. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored and we pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.
Volunteer Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who bring the Eucharist to registered parishioners who are homebound. Also, each month volunteers participate as we celebrate Mass at local nursing homes.
A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month.
Group who make knit items to sell at the bazaar. They meet Monday afternoons in the church classroom.
The Portuguese School of Peabody meets on Monday and Tuesday evenings in the Church classrooms. The group is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the learning of the Portuguese language as well as the history, geography, culture, customs, and traditions of Portugal and its people.
Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.
We are reminded of the real, true and substantial presence of Christ in even the smallest particle of the consecrated host. Assisting at the Liturgy, holders of the Communion Paten help ensure that not even a small particle drop.
